The British Council’s Human Rights Network website has now been decommissioned. Thank you for your support and interest in the network website over the last years.

Why has the site been taken down?

Human rights will continue to be an important theme in British Council activities, but as part of our Strategy 2010, and following consultation with our partners and stakeholders, we will be developing new and more tailored products and services, many with a regional focus.

What will happen to the content on the site?

The links to human rights stories on the internet will be archived to assist with the development of future human rights projects and communications. The discussion forum content will be deleted.

I have signed up for the discussion forums – what happens to my contact details?

We have deleted your contact details. They have not been passed on to anyone inside or outside the British Council.

I have contributed to the discussion forums– what happens to my records?

Your record was automatically been deleted when the database that runs the Human Rights Network was taken down.

I’ve got something to say – what can I do?

We are still keen to hear your comments on the Human Rights Network and suggestions for the future. Please send them to GovernanceAdmin@britishcouncil.org
